750cc TR7V Tiger built in Newton Abbott (UK) by LF Harris under licence in the mid-late 1980s and same model also used by Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team. Aftermarket rear suspension units and exhaust silencers replace the original items from Italian manufacturers Paioli and Lafranconi respectively. The direction indicators were originally black plastic German ULO items as fitted to contemporary BMW motorcycles. Here, pattern Lucas chromed items replace them.

Wonder what Les Harris would have thought of the latest Matchless models ?

Churchy I had to take a second look at Les Harris photo, i mistook him for you for a second . LOL sorry churchy LOL
Journey in Life, is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting '..holy sh*t ....what a ride!'
"look out for corners" :)

One of 832 bikes made, kick-start model. Powerful rotax engine, only done 6532kms from new. Missing right hand wing mirror, couple of scratches on tank. Tyres only done 1000kms, original tool kit under seat and original owners manual. Regretful sale. A fun bike to ride, the new owner will be delighted with this British oddity

When you consider this one sold for $5,500
I think this guy is dreaming > http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....#ht_500wt_1081

He has a starting price of $10,900 !

    Matchless - Harris G80 500 Motorcycle

This is a 1988 Matchless-Harris G80 500cc bike. The bike is in excellent condition. No oil leaks and no fuel leaks. Excellent paint.

This is the model built under licence to Matchless by Les Harris. It has a strong Rotax engine. This bike is rare in that it has factory fitted origina ELECTRIC START and twin discs on the front wheel. The bike still can be kick started. Many of the Matchless-Harris bikes came without the electric start and disc brakes and needed to be modified by the owner. This bike came from the factory with these modifications. Matching engine and frame numbers.

Brand new battery, has some tools with it. It still has the original UK registration plate and disc.

The bike is not registered and will be sold without a roadworthy certificate. It is expected that the bike will pass a roadworthy as it is. It will come with the Authority to Import the bike into Australia.. Please note the distance travelled is in Miles.

The bike may be inspected at Murchison.
    Victoria.

May consider an exchange of a classic car in good condition of approx same value (jaguar, Mercedes Benz , etc)
